How to Measure
Radio Strap
Measuring can be done with an existing radio strap or webbing/string.
Using an existing radio strap - adjust strap to desired length and measure from top of one trigger snap to top of second trigger snap. This will be your overall length.
Using webbing or string - place the beginning of the string where you would like to have your radio holster sit. Take other end of the webbing/string across your body, over your shoulder and back to the beginning of the string. (see photo 2). This will be your overall length.
Short = 54-60"
Standard = 60-66"
Long = 66-72"
H-Style Suspenders
Measuring can be done with webbing or string while wearing current suspenders.
While wearing pants at desired height, measure from the attachment point on the back/right side of your pants. Go over your right shoulder to the attachment point on the front/right. This will be your overall length. This is Dimension A in the photo below.
Next, measure from the back/right attachment up towards your right shoulder where the horizontal part of the H intersects. This will be the cross connection measurement. This is dimension B in the photo below.
X-Style Suspenders
Measuring can be done with webbing or string.
While wearing pants at desired height, measure from the attachment point on the back/right side of your pants. Go over your left shoulder to the front/left attachment point. This will be your overall length.
Next, measure from the back/right attachment up towards your left shoulder where the other strap intersects. This will be the cross connection measurement.
Duty Belt and Bunker Gear Belt
Measuring can be done with an existing belt or a piece of webbing.
Lay the belt on a table and measure from the end with the holes to the buckle end. Start your measurement at the hole most used to the buckle. This will be your overall measurement. This will be the center hole on the new belt. The new belt will have 3 holes to move up or down.
Note: If you are ordering an everyday belt, measure an existing everyday belt. If you are ordering a bunker gear belt, use a bunker gear belt. If you measure a belt you wear on your duty pants and expect it to fit your bunker gear (or wear as a truck belt), it will not work.
